Caron Treatment Centres will soon open ‘The Fran and Doug Tieman Center’, a research centre dedicated to conducting medical research at its Pennsylvania campus. Based on Caron’s former president and CEO’s name, The Fran and Doug Tieman Centre will be the first research centre at a non-profitable organisation focused on substance abuse, treatment of addiction, and its prevention. This centre will provide enough space to accommodate more studies. Individuals outside Caron will also be welcomed and recruited to participate in research.
