The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) has announced $19 million funding for Monash’s research projects, which focus on different areas such as diabetes, epilepsy, alcohol treatment, acidic blood trial etc. These projects are encompassed by Clinical Trials and Cohort Studies grants, the areas where researchers work to put forth better treatments, practices, and outcomes by collaborating with participants. Professor James Whisstock says that this funding will drive amazing outcomes that will make a positive difference in the healthcare industry.
