Meta Quest, the virtual reality platform, has introduced a new subscription service called Meta Quest+. Priced at $7.99 per month or $59.99 annually, this service grants users access to the top two titles each month. The existence of the service was initially discovered by Twitter users in March, and the details were further confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, who stated that it is currently available for Quest 2 and Pro, with Quest 3 support coming later this year. The initial offerings of Meta Quest+ include the action-rhythm game FPS Pistol Whip and the arcade adventure game Pixel Ripped 1995. In August, subscribers will gain access to Walkabout Mini Golf and Mothergunship: Forge. Unlike PlayStation’s subscription service, Meta Quest+ allows users to retain the titles as long as they remain subscribed. Meta also announced upcoming games for their VR platform, such as Stranger Things VR, Assassin’s Creed, and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord. To entice users, Meta is offering an introductory discount where signing up before July 31 will cost only $1 for the first month.
