Te Whata Ora Waikato, previously known as Waikato District Health Board, will be employing cloud-based anaesthesia information management device from Provation, a healthcare-focused technology provider, to digitise their healthcare services. This will be implemented with the help of Altera Health Digital, as the two organizations have entered a contract. The purpose of Waikato is to improve service quality and patient safety with the help of a digital solution for their perioperative system. Earlier on, the hospital was using the traditional paper-based management. Altera has implemented Provation’s technology at Mt. Gambier And Districts Health Service in South Australia and The Royal Adelaide Hospital, which employs this system.
