NationsBenefits, a healthcare company, has acquired DeliverLean, a health and wellness-focused manufacturer, to promote its Food as Medicine-related services. While delivering other products through Medicare beneficiaries, the acquisition will allow NationsBenefits to produce healthy meals for people in need of chronic care. The founder and CEO of NationsBenefits, Glenn M. Parker, says that DeliverLean has brought the “best healthy, prepared meal solution” to the market. By employing both the platforms, Mr. Glenn says, member outcomes can be improved. Currently, NationsBenefits offers supplemental benefits, member engagement solutions for diet plans, and flex cards. The organisation will support its low-income customers by implementing DeliverLean’s expanded meal services.
