As the venture capital company eyes signing 10 health system collaborations by 2023, General Catalyst announced a relationship with WellSpan Health, marking its fourth digital innovation partnership with a health system. According to a press release, the South Central Pennsylvania-based health system and the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company are interested in enhancing patient experiences, strengthening caregiver relationships, and developing innovative care models. According to WellSpan’s president and CEO Roxanna Gapstur, Ph.D., R.N., the agreement is meant to enhance the health system’s four innovation emphasis areas, including brand experience, innovative and new care models, patient-provider partnerships, and business efficiency.
