PLx Pharma has collaborated with Atlanta Braves legend John “Smoltzie” Smoltz to promote its reformulated high-dose painkiller Vazalore. The drug is basically a capsule that contains liquid and relieves body pain without disturbing patient’s stomach. Essentially, the company focuses on reducing the risk of stomach injury that people encounter while taking aspirin as an anti-platelet therapy. Smoltz is set to lead a campaign for Vazalore that will mainly run on Facebook. In honour of September Pain Awareness Month, Smoltz has appeared on PLx Pharma’s Facebook page and is informing people about the efficacy of this drug.
