As Ireland proceeds ahead to become the hub of pharma manufacturing projects, Ipsen becomes the latest company to hop on the bandwagon. Ipsen revealed the €52 million ($49.9 million) extension of its active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facility on Monday. The investment aims to increase the manufacturing of ingredients and medications for cancer and other uncommon diseases. An executive at Ipsen has announced that the site is currently employing 175 workers, with a 20% increase in its existing workforce, especially in its research and development sector.
