Appetito, a delivery firm hailing from Egypt, raised a $450K seed round of funding. This funding round was led by  Saudi investors and the Afropreneurs Fund. Appetito was founded last year as a grocery delivery-only firm with a next-day or pre-ordered delivery service. Now the firm plans to move towards offering on-demand delivery services in Cairo. This is one of the first delivery startups to be funded by African investors.
