A new report by The J.D. Power U.S. Telehealth Satisfaction Study found that LiveHealth Online ranks first as a direct-to-consumer telehealth provider. Humana topped the list for health plans for telehealth services. The companies are ranked according to four factors, viz., enrollment, billing and payment, customer service, and consultation. A total of 4,306 responses from healthcare customers using telehealth for 12 months were recorded in June and July. For customer service, LiveHealth Online scored 869 out of 1000, making it the highest scoring company, while Walgreens received the lowest points. Humana received 862 points out of 1000 for its health plan ranking. The major determiner of patient satisfaction is having enough facetime with doctors who provide quality care and resolve medical issues on the first visit.
