Save Mart is deploying robots to audit product shelves and keep a record of out-of-stocks. These robots will reduce out-of-stocks by up to 30%, as well as let the regional retailer replenish products in time and keep them in their designated location on the sales floor. Simbe Tally, a tech firm, is developing these robots to provide real-time inventory data and insights to the retailer. The human sales force would focus on customers to serve them better.
