A research ward will be established at Shanghai’s First Maternity and Infant Hospital to advance study into reproductive malignancies, congenital deformities, developmental problems, and potentially fatal perinatal illnesses. According to the hospital authorities, the ward will introduce a unique method for a closer link between clinical practise and the creation of new goods and technology through partnerships with pharmaceutical firms.
