Brick Meets Click, a research and analytics firm, stated in its latest survey that online grocery sales went down by 10% in April this year. On the contrary, the market remains four times higher than pre-COVID days and goes up by 16% as more people get the vaccine jab and step out. The survey included 1,941 U.S. adults who shopped household groceries and purchased online groceries in April. Another factor behind the online grocery shopping fall is the average order value (AOV) of grocery orders.
