Taiwanese food brands and chains including Frozen Heart, Morn Coo Coo, Fried Chicken Master, Taiwanese Style Fried Chicken, MR Sun, Yu Fu Yaun Restaurant and Thefeen Burger are opening their restaurants in Thailand. Taiwanese food and retailer brands see potential growth and profit in Thailand’s marketplace because of the cross-cultural similarities. As per United Nation’s report, Thailand’s population has increased from 38.8% to 51.4% in 2020, providing Taiwanese food brands with promising market. Plus, geographically, Thailand is located in the center of Southeast Asia, which is why almost 20 Asian food companies are planning to target Thailand.
