Mel Cash, the chief strategy officer of Nestlé, reports to Food Navigator that Nestlé’s online sales grew by 40% in the U.S in 2020. The e-commerce opportunities are still ever-growing. Nestlé USA will invest in new business ventures like direct-to-consumer, last-mile delivery, and similar growth opportunities. Nestlé will continue expanding its e-commerce business. Nestlé plans to collaborate with other retailers for better availability and simplification of online search. Mel added that the brand is working on customization and personalization through an improved search engine.
