As the world reopens post-pandemic, restaurants have also been opening to offer dine-in services to customers. Intouch Insight, a research firm, has gathered data on changing consumer behaviour regarding the restaurant and food industry. The report shows that 11% of respondents reported eating at restaurants two or three times a week in fall, up from 6% in the spring. 4% of the respondents said they do so more than three times a week. Consumers are willing to use the latest technology to order food and expect it to be user-friendly. Businesses have been soliciting feedback from customers, but there is still room for further improvement in this domain.
