Home Depot, the largest home improvement retailer, has hired Walmart’s drivers to deliver paint, tools and other products to consumers. Home Depot marks to be the first retail customer of Walmart’s latest delivery business GoLocal. GoLocal drivers will offer same-day or next-day delivery of small to medium-sized products like boxes of nails, fasteners, paint buckets and tools. Walmart will begin its delivery service in New Mexico, Texas and Arkansas in the next few weeks, and later grow its business to other markets across the country.
