Discounters like Biedronka, Lidl, Aldi, and Netto continue to attract a huge number of shoppers and grow. These retailers repeatedly improve the customer shopping experience by enhancing stores and products with discounted prices. Digital grocery sales now account for about 1% of all FMCG sales. It is reckoned that a third of those buying food online are aged 25-34. Grocers now need quick order picking, fast delivery, click&collect, and a swift complaint handling or return service.
