Soulgate Inc. has developed a dating application, Soul, for the metaverse that generated a revenue of $194 million in 2021 through subscriptions and memberships. The company has submitted an application to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. It claims that the social media platform will provide opportunities for compatible people to interact based on their choices and interests. One of the reports claims that people are spending 40 minutes a day, approximately, searching for a perfect match in the metaverse through Soul.
