Amazon has acquired a digital startup, Veeqo that offers digital business management tools. The startup is based out of Swansea, Wales, UK. Veeqo provides a consolidated platform to help businesses manage orders, inventory, packing, shipping, purchasing and sales. The startup also lets them sell products on and off Amazon with increased transparency and management. The tech giant is estimated to have 40% of the nation’s e-commerce sales and now plans to take bits of sales from other digital platforms like Spotify, Walmart, eBay, and Etsy. The acquisition will further facilitate the growth of multichannel businesses for sellers and improve the customer shopping experience.
