SariSuki, a Philippines-based social commerce startup, recently gained $7.1M in a funding round. Openspace, Susquehanna International Group (SIG), Global Founders Capital (GFC), Saison Capital and JG Digital Equity Ventures participated and led the round. The startup has now raised total funding worth $10.5 million. SariSuki now plans to shift from social commerce business model to an end-to-end digital grocery platform for consumers in the Philippines. The firm will deliver groceries in under 15 minutes to consumers’ doors. Grab Philippines president Brian Cu is one of SariSuki’s founders. The startup will buy fresh produce in bulk from local farmers and offer them to consumers at a discounted price.
