Jo Baker and Sarah Superfon co-founded the brand Bakeup, which was introduced on July 22, with the concept of “multiverse” to amalgamate both digital and actual beauty. Baker thinks of launching NFTs ahead of the actual product. The Disco Veiler Eye Adornment, a digital eye accessory, will be made available as a Snapchat, Instagram, Augmented Reality filter, and an NFT as part of the Non-Fungible People (NFP), a collection by software developer Daz 3D. 500 selected NFP community members will receive the NFT edition for free. According to Daz 3D’s description, Non-Fungible People is “a collection of 8,888 women and non-binary hyper-realistic 3D avatars.” The brand has not yet revealed the details regarding the availability of NFTs, but it will be a strategic one, according to Superfon.
