Yiwu market, a new shopping hub for affordable Chinese products, opened in Dubai. The market is meant to help businesses in Dubai’s retail and wholesale industries by offering them affordable goods. Middle Eastern consumers can purchase hundreds of Chinese products ranging from furniture to clothing to beauty accessories from a 200,000 sqm, two-floor Yiwu market. Dubai Media Office reports that DP World and the China Commodity City Group, which manages the world’s largest wholesale market in China, partnered to build a new Yiwu market in Dubai with an investment of Dhs600m.
