Brinker, Chili’s parent company, has partnered with Serve Robotics to pilot a sidewalk robot delivery programme. As per the latest resources, Brinker is also trialling drone delivery with Flytrex, a US-based firm specialising in drone delivery services. Restaurant chains like Chili’s are exploring drone and sidewalk delivery to escape the high cost associated with third-party delivery platforms like Uber and DoorDash. For Serve Robotics, this opportunity proves to be a significant one as Chili’s has over 1,600 locations worldwide.
