Five months ago, Kroger, a US-based retailer, teamed up with Bed Bath & Beyond, a chain of domestic merchandise retail outlets. The partners have now announced the launch of a joint e-commerce website for consumers. The Kroger’s Ship marketplace will offer items like storage, bedding and baby furniture from Bed Bath & Beyond and its Buybuy Baby chain. The site will offer a wide variety, including around 25,000 home and baby favourites from the domestic merchandiser. Kroger will provide free shipping and fuel points to customers purchasing from the site.
