McCormick & Company has become one of the few businesses to achieve validation from the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) on its emission reduction goals. These are in alignment with the Paris Agreement and keep global warming below 1.5 degrees C. The company recently achieved its scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas commitments for 2025, four years early. This has led it to raise its goal to eliminate scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 42% by 2030. McCormick is just one of the few to achieve this validation by SBTi. It aims to leverage science to achieve all emission reduction goals and be Net Zero by 2050.
