Urban Outfitters, a multinational lifestyle retailer, has observed some record-breaking sales in Q2 of 2022. On the contrary, the fashion retailer saw its profits halved in the period. The retailer had sales rose 2.2% to $1.18 billion (1.2 billion euros). Online growth slowed down, while shop sales remained stable. Subsidiary brands of Urban Outfitters, Free People and Anthropologie, drove the growth for the retailer. The comparable retail sales at Urban Outfitters fell by 9 %.
