Walmart is partnering with Procter & Gamble and TerraCycle to allow customers to recycle product packaging in four states. The Walmart US Beauty Recycling Programme will function in 25 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. It would offer convenient in-store drop-off points for empty hair care, skincare, and cosmetic packaging. The items being recycled include plastic and glass tubes, pots, pumps, sprays, jars, etc. The programme is set to inculcate the importance of sustainability in the consumer circle.
