As the market for digital commodities in the metaverse expands, there is an increasing demand for influencers, consultants, game creators, and designers of avatar accessories. Today, anyone with a computer and an internet connection may use a digital avatar to explore Roblox, the Sandbox, or Decentraland. The “skins,” which are the avatar’s accoutrements, can be anything from a set of elf ears with piercings to a whirling, multicoloured flame aura. Nikki Fuego created her in-demand digital goods for avatars and made $40,000 in the last eight months, which is more than four times her regular monthly salary. Digital nail art is produced by New York-based creative director CK Bubbles for avatars in the metaverse. At the height of the epidemic in 2020, the 36-year-old started creating nail art from home. Grimes‘ performance at Decentraland inspired CK Bubbles to try painting nails in the virtual world.
