Diligent Robotics has developed a robot called Moxi to address the challenges faced by nurses in US hospitals, especially during and after the pandemic. Moxi will bridge the gap present in the healthcare industry after the world saw a shortage of nurses. 15 such robots are currently working in US hospitals, and 60 more are to be deployed by the end of this year. Developments in AI and Robotics can greatly assist in compensating for human limitations; however, they may be equally vulnerable to infringement. Cybersecurity concerns are yet to be taken into account regarding specialised robots.
