In order to give couples living in the United States the possibility to be married in the metaverse, Taco Bell and Decentraland have announced their collaboration. Through September 6, the fast food restaurant business will hold a sweepstake for interested couples, selecting one pair to have a complete, official wedding. The first officially acknowledged Metaverse wedding package offered by the company is available to couples who take first place in the tournament. Taco Bell will webcast the entire ceremony live, and the happy couple will receive a wedding certificate souvenir afterward. Through Taco Bell’s metaverse wedding website, couples may compete. One submission per person/email address will be given to applicants for the competition. Anyone in Decentraland who wishes to attend the ceremony will be able to do so.
