eBay, a Cali-based multinational e-commerce company, has announced the launch of its live and socially interactive shopping platform called eBay Live. The e-commerce firm will launch its first live shopping event with a curated selection of collectibles and rare trading cards from Bleecker Trading, an eBay seller. This interactive shopping event will offer a retail experience no different from a physical retail outlet. Shoppers can have a discussion about the product with the seller through chat and through reactive buttons. They can also make the final purchase instantly from the live streaming.  Shoppers can tune in to live streaming through the eBay app and website. In beta, eBay Live will offer a streamlined, entertaining, and ethical way for the community to connect, purchase, and trade. After YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, eBay is the latest retailer to venture into the live shopping stream and automate its customer shopping experience.
