Digital therapeutics developer, Sidekick Health, has recently collaborated with the health insurance behemoth Anthem with the intention of extending their gaming platform to treat patients suffering from chronic diseases. The software devised by Sidekick will assist the patients in tracking their symptoms, managing sleep patterns, nutrition and stress while providing recommendations accordingly. Due to this software, communication between healthcare providers and patients will be rendered effective. The Swedish firm has collected a revenue of $55 million to build and reinforce therapeutics in the U.S. After forming partnerships with firms like Big Pharma, Sidekick is currently working with Anthem to offer caretaking services to individuals suffering from Crohn’s disease and COVID-19. The objective of Sidekick is to encompass 40 therapeutical areas.
