Asics has released the “UI Collection,” a collaboration with web3 brand Solana. Asics’ GT-2000 sneaker is available in two colorways: white (“light mode”) and black (“dark mode”). Every purchase will include a “loyalty Asics Badge NFT,” which will grant access to future prizes and experiences, according to the company.

Purchasers will also be eligible for extra NFTs from Asics and Web3 brand Stepn through airdrop, which will grant access to the “Move and Earn” app, which rewards physical activity with NFTs. Only USD Coin (USDC), an Ether-based cryptocurrency known as a “stablecoin” that is fixed to the value of the US dollar, can be used to make payments.
