Sony has invested in a tech startup, Analytical Flavor Systems (AFS),  to pilot robot chefs that can predict what we want to eat. AFS has a flavour AI, Gastrograph AI, which can predict the performance and success rate of a new snack and crops. Robot chefs would be able to decipher flavour combinations better than humans and would cook exactly what humans feel like eating. A German plant breeding firm is using AFS’s flavour technology to measure the success rate of their crop breeds.
