Kroger partners with UK-based Ocado Group to extend e-commerce footprints in California and Florida. Kroger Now will build Ocado-powered robotic fulfilment centres in the Northeast to fill online orders. The retailer is gearing up to offer prompt delivery of grocery orders within 30-minutes from a wide variety of 10,000 fresh food items. Besides the Monroe and Groveland CFCs, they include locations in Forest Park. The retailer, which had no brick-and-mortar store, has debuted its first physical presence in the Northeast.
