FreshDirect, a US-based online grocer, will be resuming its delivery service called Rosé Express in Long Island. This summer, the online retailer will offer a two-hour delivery of wine, beer, and spirits. Apart from alcoholic beverages, the grocer will deliver fresh food, beverages, prepared meals, and household essentials. The delivery service, launched last year, would serve the Bellport, Shelter Island, and the North Fork areas this year. FreshDirect would strengthen its relationships with local farmers and suppliers, including artisans from Long Island, purveyors and small businesses such as Great Gun Shellfish and Wickham’s Fruit Farm.
