Gopuff is clearly struggling with a challenging market and dropping e-commerce demand.The instant delivery firm is rumoured to lay off about 10% of its global workforce (approximately 1,500 employees) and also plans to shut a number of its dark stores. Gopuff hopes to cut overhead costs and generate operational efficiencies. The firm also plans to expand to international markets, including the UK, where it sees an increase in orders. This news comes after Gopuff announced that it would sack 3% of its positions globally from its workforce of roughly 15,000 workers earlier this year.
