AI & Robotics: Amazon’s latest tech Dash Cart has new features, including a rim sensor array with AI cameras that can scan barcodes, to transform the grocery shopping experience.

Store of the Future: Rodney McMullen, the CEO of Kroger, shared how its obsession with serving customers well is driving success for the retailer. Kroger will involve innovations, tech, and partnerships to expand its food business.

Online Grocery: Walmart is extending the Spanish language search capability to its website. The retail giant is further planning to add predictive search and continual personalisation and contextualisation.

Consumer Trends: Various C-stores see sales of peg bag candy, gums and sour treats surge as people go back to their offices. 

Digital Supply Chain: Waitr has partnered with Elite Extra, a last-mile logistics tech solution provider, and Burq, another on-demand delivery startup, to expand its delivery services.

Metaverse: Lowe’s Companies is entering the metaverse to allow customers to visualise their building landscapes.
