QuickTrip, an American chain of convenience stores, has partnered with Amazon to roll out a store using its Just Walk Out technology for a self-checkout system. The convenience store chain has launched a new, non-gasoline store at One Williams Centre in Oklahoma City in the BOK Tower. Aisha Jefferson-Smith, QuikTrip’s communications manager, revealed that the chain plans to grow non-gas stores and would employ Amazon’s self-checkout tech to annihilate checkout lines and offer convenience to shoppers.
