Delhaize Group, the notable food retailer, has rolled out an innovative and remodelled grocery outlet in Belgium. Delhaize CEO Xavier Piesvaux further detailed that Delhaize is taking note of what its shoppers want and will promptly respond to cater to their evolving grocery needs. The upgraded store offers the Fresh Atelier section to offer ready-to-eat meal solutions to customers. Furthermore, the new concept outlet provides the company’s Collect service, which allows customers to order groceries online and pick them up at stores. Moreover, Delhaize has placed wide digital screens in the outlet for customers to order groceries online and get free home delivery. The grocer intends to open more such stores with an investment of $235.38 million each year.
