The brothers Preston, Dalton, and Brandon Basha established Tortuga Trading Co. after Bashas’ was purchased by Raley’s last year.Boom Interactive, a startup that develops AI software, has received funding from the brothers’ business. The funding will benefit R3D, the retail version of Bubbles, Boom Interactive’s main product. The Raley’s Companies, which debuted late in the previous year, now included Bashas’ as a division. Under five brands, Bashas’ operates in Arizona, New Mexico, and four tribal countries.
