Boxed, an online food delivery firm, views B2B groceries as a key development pillar for the company. Boxed purchased New York’s MaxDelivery, which distributes a selection of over 10,000 goods. The corporation is also concentrating on harnessing robots and automation to improve the efficiency of its fulfilment operations. Chieh Huang, co-founder and CEO, stated at the 2023 ICR Conference that the company believes it can improve margins on consumer grocery delivery by batch-picking orders and driving higher average order volumes.
