McCain Foods, the world’s largest frozen potato product maker, has launched a new activation on Roblox, a blockchain-based virtual world.McCain’s new Roblox experience, “Farms of the Future,” is intended to promote regenerative agriculture to a younger audience. Visitors are given points for growing virtual potatoes using regenerative farming principles. The company’s #SaveOurSoil campaign will also involve a collaboration with the Long Beach, California-based eatery Bored & Hungry. According to McCain, the programme is part of a bigger attempt to implement regenerative farming methods across its international potato-growing sector by the end of 2030.
