Hy-Vee’s retail media arm, RedMedia, is implementing Samsung’s cloud-based digital signage technology across all its stores. The VXT Content Management System (CMS) will be deployed across a network of over 10,000 Samsung commercial displays, allowing real-time control of content and device management. Hy-Vee plans to place these displays in various sections of their stores, showcasing live cooking demos, promotions, recipes, product pairings, and more. RedMedia is also leveraging Samsung Ads to extend its marketing reach through off-site TVs and other advertising channels. This move underscores the growing importance of retail media for regional grocers in staying competitive against national chains, with Hy-Vee at the forefront of adopting advanced technology in this domain.
