After introducing new non-fungible tokens on the Binance NFT marketplace, Cristiano Ronaldo, a legendary football player and striker for Manchester United, was named the “guy of the week” in the cryptocurrency world. During a brief tell-all interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTv mid-last week, Ronaldo announced the debut of his new digital collectibles inspired by football in collaboration with cryptocurrency exchange Binance. Ronaldo tweeted that his new NFTs would launch on Binance following his inflammatory remarks.

Unfortunately, even if the majority of cryptocurrency and football enthusiasts are pleased with the new NFT collection, some Manchester United supporters have had mixed feelings about the tweet promoting his NFTs. In the meanwhile, Portugal’s star player and captain, 37-year-old Ronaldo, has teamed up with his teammates for FIFA World Cup competitions in Doha, Qatar. The eagerly anticipated occasion started on November 20 and will last until December 18.
