In an interview with CPG specialist, Tyson’s chief sustainability officer, John Tyson, mentioned that he is responsible to make Tyson the world’s sustainable protein company. He aims to improve the methodologies along with conserving the environment and natural resources. He mentioned that by 2050, they plan to go “carbon neutral” or net-zero across all supply chain operations. He maintains that sustainability is not limited to costing only. It goes beyond ROI and is an extended vision for a business focusing on improvements.
